How can I pay for my subscription?
You can pay for your subscription by credit/debit card, by cheque or postal order, by direct bank transfer, by direct debit or we can send you a proforma invoice.

What is Premium?
Premium is Antiquity's premier subscription service. Premium subscribers will receive a printed copy of the journal every quarter and have full access to the current issue online. In addition, premium subscribers have unlimited access to Antiquity's online archive where we have digitised every article, note and review since the journal began in 1927.
What happens when I subscribe online?
To subscribe online you must supply a valid email address.
When you have subscribed, you will first receive an automated reply informing you that your subscription has been received. Once your subscription has been processed, you will then receive an email directly from Portland Customer Services giving you your username and password for access to the online version of the journal. Please keep this safe.
If you have subscribed to an option which includes a printed copy of the journal, this will be sent out to you automatically.

Is there a student discount?
Antiquity offers a student subscription rate of £30 for the printed edition only. Please contact Portland Customer Services by post, telephone or email to request a student subscription.

Alternatively, an institutional premium subscription will allow all students of that institution full and unlimited access to the whole of Antiquity online, including our online archive which includes every article, note and review ever published since the journal began in 1927. A premium subscription also includes a printed copy of the journal - recommend Antiquity premium to your library to take advantage of this unique resource.
Is there a discount for retired people?
Antiquity does not currently offer a discount for retired people but we hope that our individual online only and print only prices are sufficiently within the reach of most subscribers.
Is there a reduced rate for organisations/institutions in developing countries?
Antiquity has always supported institutions and organisations in developing countries and provides a number of free and reduced rate subscriptions every year. From 2008 free and reduced rate subscriptions to Antiquity will be handled via the World Archaeological Congress' Global Libraries Project. A full list of the libraries that benefit under this scheme are available on the Global Libraries website http://www.worldarchaeologicalcongress.org/site/globallibraries.php. If you would like to apply for inclusion on the Global Libraries list, please contact them directly.
Can I receive e-alerts for Antiquity?
Yes, all subscribers to Online only, Combined or Premium can receive e-alerts when the next issue of Antiquity is available online. To sign up for e-alerts please contact Portland Customer Services.
